Why Blockchain?

Traditional paper-based or database-based traceability systems can be altered after the fact. Blockchain creates an immutable (unchangeable) record — once data is written, it cannot be modified or deleted. This makes our traceability system tamper-proof in a way that conventional documentation cannot achieve.
